Is there a thruster that actually makes you go faster?

all the thrusters ive come by all have a max speed of 200 i think it is...the only thing that gets upgraded is the afterburner regen speed.

Nope, they just let you thrust longer when you get the higher versions, max afterburn speed is always 200 although it turns out to be 199 most of the time.

unfortunately no...and this is also one of the bad points of freelancer...there is no more such thing such as outrunning your enemies on thursters /afterburners
