Yes there is a planet with monkeys, yet I'm still puzzled as to where it is

There is another nomad galaxy, there you have a planet with robots.

I don't think there is anything in the unknown jumphole at omicron alpha besides the sun. I did a fair bit of searching. the monkey planet and the robot planet are in the unknown jumphole at omicron Gamma.

Yes... you...

If you got through the hidden jumphole in the Omicron Gamma system it takes you to the 'Unknown system' with the Primus (monkey planet). You will continually get attacked by nomads. However, for some reason you can get weapons from these guys when you kill them. They are all Level 10 and DO NOT USE ANY ENERGY! ITS GREAT! I'VE GOT 4 OF THEM!

Vermin: The robot and monkey planets are in the same place. Also, it's not another Galaxy, only another sector/area/etc. in Sirius space.
Unknown OA Jumphole: Yeah, it's only the star and nomad fighters.
Jonm: You can get weapons, theoretically, from ANY ship. You're salvaging it out of the debris. Also, we've known that they are Level 10 and used no energy to fire.

but can you get the guns more easily from primus...than unknown syetm..so far i've spent 1hour killin nomads..and not 1 damn gun...

Uh, Both sectors are labelled as unknown.

If you read some of the other threads you will find out that you need to be lvl 35 in order to get weapons from the Nomads. I'm note quite sure about it, but I've never had problems with that...
