Making Juni Wait Question

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Making Juni Wait Question

Hey all,
Quick question. Is there any limit to how long you can make Juni wait for you? I've heard of bugs where she isn't where she's supposed to be, but say I want to explore a system a little more before I meet her. That's okay? Is there a point where I can't complete the single-player campaign if I choose to do this for some missions? I haven't run into this yet, but I'm just paranoid I'm gonna explore and find out I waited too long and can't do the SP game. (Yeah, I could load a savegame, but I don't want to do a lot of work and then undo it with a stupid error on my part.)

Thanks a lot,
Shaun

I read where it had more to do with money than time. As long as you dont make too much extra money you should be ok exploring.

After finishing a mission level your next level will usually be based on finances. After you hit this mark Juni will contact you and ask you to meet her at some area. I have noticed if already on a mission I will respond with something about being obligated right now, then she says get there as soon as I can.
Even then I have performed many missions before actually going to meet her, and she has always been there.
Also after she contacts you you should get mission waypoints that show you the route to where she is.

You can make her wait forever... It's not necessary to comply to her unless you wish to level up or progress the SP campaign.

Note that you might not have access to some systems if you don't meet with her.

That's fine. I just got to mission 2, and I want to explore the New York system completely before moving on. Question...does it matter if you decline her (tested it - she seems to be sure you'll return) or should you just ignore her until you're ready to take it? I'd like to be polite and decline her as long as I know every time I do this I can go back and she'll be there.

Thanks for all the responses thus far!

You can make as much money as you want. Your going to need it somwhere around mission 9 when they stop paying you for running missions. When I got to New Tokyo I bought a cargo ship and made a couple of runs from Tokyo to Mactan Base. I made a million credits before continuing. I recomend at least 300k. This game is way, way out of balance. The story line shouldn't have started so damn soon and the stupid leveling up system is a joke.

Well, made my decision. I declined (Actually, Trent just says he isn't ready), and she said she'd wait (though I don't think King was real happy). Now I'll see what happens, and if I run into problems I made a save there I can go back to. Thanks for the tips all. I want to visit all the bases and hopefully at least get a new ship before moving on.
