Area 21???

It just seems to be a MASSIVE mine field... I've tried to pick my way through em carefully but I can't even get past outer layer of mines in my starflier before dying.

Is there anyway past the mines, and is there anything on the inside of the minefield?

There is a narrow route between the mines. At the end of the road there's a jump gate to the Alaska system.

But don't go yet... it's not open. It's only used for SP purposes.

Is there any point in going back to Alaska after you've completed the SP game? Is it even possible to do so? Has anyone tried?
