get alot of them and transport them as fast as possible. Thats the only method I'v heard about.

Yep, if i understand the perishing correctly, only the unit on "top" of the commodity pile degrades.

This implies that a huge purchase of the item will have a smaller percentage degrade.

Also, degradation doesn't seem to happen when you're on port, only space.

thanks... worked fine on a run of ao (lost 8 between fp9 and cambridge research) and luxfood (lost 7 between nlondon and la).
