which of the ships is better and why:

Titan or Anubis

I'm thinking of buying the Anubis but I'm also pondering on the Titan

the titan is better by far, the Anubis while an ok ship is far less advanced than the titan, and i dont think that you can buy the anubis in MP, in SP the Anubis is included in the plot so its not really a decision

I'm not sure at what point during the story you get an Anubis given to you. But I did get a chance to buy one as part of the story. At first I ignored it because it cost so little. Then I got into some SP battles that I really couldn't survive. So I went back a few autosaves (btw, this game has the best save system EVER) and stumbled on the anubis again. I bought it and got a pile of money for selling my other ship. Got a lot stronger as a result.
