New London Ship dealer

At the end of Mission 4 Tobias gives you money to buy a new ship from the New London ship dealer. After narrowly escaping certain death several times trying to get there I find that the ship selection and prices are identical to the Leeds dealer. So why in heck would I want to go all the way to new london for a ship? Can anyone clear this up?

LOL, yeah that's a good reason. But the impression I got from the story is that I'm going to me more likely to be attacked by Bounty Hunters in my old ship and that I should get a new one asap. That being the case I'm inclinded to buy one right there on Leeds.
