newbie question, but i need help !!!

sorry for being so naive, but i got this game only two days ago.
anyhow... im trying to get the Crusader Heavy Fighter and its suppose to be availabe in Leeds system (thats where i am right now) at the BattleShip Suffolk. However I have no idea where to look for that BattleShip. I cant find any indication of it on the map, and i think its a lot of space to cover by searching it one quadrant at a time. Also i've read in these forums that there are some anomalities, as well as lost ships and other goodies out there, how do i look for them? just basically combing each system, or are there any hints on the map? Please Help ! Thanks in advace.

OK - this is from DethStryke's list of ship locations:

Crusader
Battleship Norfolk, Cambridge -- Armed Forces
Battleship Essex, Dublin -- Armed Forces
Battleship Hood, Dublin -- IMG
Battleship York, Leeds -- Armed Forces
Battleship Suffolk, New London -- Armed Forces

Exploring systems is a lot less work than checking out every box individually - go into your map screen, then click on the the Patrol path Map button at the top of the map box. You'll see three filters along the top right - neutral (white lines), hostile (red) or friendly (green)- to find most hidden places, just follow the red, white and green lines on the map, they'll lead to most hidden bases, jump holes and the odd derelict.
