Reprecussions of destroying Hogosha?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Reprecussions of destroying Hogosha?

I see that Hogosha have no allies listed but many enemies. I was wanting to kill all of them I saw to get in good with both the Corsairs and the GMG. Will any other factions fall as a result of making them hostile? I know it says no allies but the GMG said no allies also. However when I killed the GMG I had Bounty Hunters, Samura and Kishiro all go hostile along with them which I didn't understand since it said they had no allies. Does anyone know if Hogosha is like GMG and will pull other factions along with them even when it says no allies?

Well the hogosha are basically almost like a version of the mafia set in an asian society...and I think that they are more of an accepted part of their society...so it might not be a good thing to go around always killing them if you're interested in keeping a good standing with some of the other kusari factions...but hey...if you do, you could just make some bribes and fix your rep with them right? heh heh...

The hogosha are effectively the game's Yakuza. If you don't know what the Yakuza are, c'mere so I can cut off one of your fingers.

The Hogosha may not have had allies, but their enemies became pleased with you, making the enemies of the Hogosha's enemies displeased. It's all very complicated.

I've been trying to kill the Gaians, Xenos, Hogosha, Mollys, Corsairs, Farmer's Alliance, and Unioners. I've also been fighting the LWB and Junkers, but not by choice. The houses are all at least neutral; most of the house corporations love me; the Blood Dragons, GC, Lane Hackers, Bounty Hunters, and Outcasts all love me; and even the Liberty Rogues are neutral. If I could get the Junkers back up to neutral, I'd be set, but I have to figure out who best to piss off to do so.

Actually, I was on Cadiz yesterday, in the bar, saw a newsreel that stated that the corsairs were working on an aliance with the Hogosha. Something about getting an exclusive for trading artifacts.. (This was in MP)

George - How long did it take to get in good with the Outcasts? Im tring to get the Omicron Alpha/Unknown, but keep getting SLAMMED by em..

Interesting..

I found that the easiest way to get in good with the criminal organizations, without a great loss to your reputation with the 'good guys', was to slaughter Bounty Hunters... I decided to pay them back for their relentless pursuit in the 'Escape From Liberty' mission, one thing led to another, and here I am with only 2 enemies - Bounty Hunters and the Mollys. I dunno why the Mollys still don't like me, but everyone else is neutral and well on their way to friendly.

One of the Freeport bases (just north of Liberty?) had a Zoner that offered an Outcast bribe from hated to neutral for $150k, so I took it. That made the Lane Hackers and Liberty Rogues also go neutral with me, but had little other consequence due to a high reputation with those I took the hit with (mostly Liberty Navy/Police/Security). Now I need to find some way to get the 100% Outcast-lovin' down so I can visit the Corsair planet... As I said, complicated.
