Nomad Weapons
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Plasma ??? Hmmmm could be - but then again... It's definately X-Ray....
Have a look at this link -

That'll explain it.. - I know you cant see x-rays but any high energy event can affect the surrounding area of space, other gases, particles etc... Yes you cant see X-Rays directly but you can see their interaction on their environment!!!!

DJW, you're hopeless... True, black holes emit strong x-ray radiation but not visible. They're detected using radio telescopes (I'm not talking about fiction now, this is real). As for "affecting the surronding ..." No. X-ray does not affect anything (nothing visible anyway), the only way you can see it is if it has red shifted (caused by gravity) into the visible spectrum, but by then it's just regular light, not x-ray!
The matter jets are caused by the exteme pressure & heat generated at the centre of the black hole (like if you squeeze a ketchup bottle real hard ); matters are ejected at a very high velocity beyond the event horizon (if within the EH then they're not going anywhere).
Go read an encyclopedia.
