Phoenix: I dont only play Halo, i love the game, i adore it. SPARTAN's kick ass and are the coolest mofos in existence, hands down 
Anyways there really is no way to tell if your codecs are wrong as far as i know for that matter.But the trick i posted will solve stucking in Mission 3 problem, but it doesnt solve the missing dialogue problem in some cases, sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not.
