Is there a jump hole from Leed to Cambridge?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Is there a jump hole from Leed to Cambridge?

The star chat shows there is a direct link between Leed and Cambridge. Is there a jump hole?

Yes there is. If your star chart shows the connecting line then you've already found the jump hole. Perhaps you haven't discovered the Leeds end yet.

BTW some of the jump holes in Leeds are so close that the text labels won't be displayed until you zoom in. I've found five jump holes in Leeds.

I read somewhere that this is just a one way trip. You can jump from Cambridge to Leeds but not vice versa.

Actually, it's not exactly a one-way trip. You can use the jump hole in Leeds to get to Cambridge, but it's hard as the devil to find. See, it only displays on your HUD as "Unknown Object" and it never shows up on your star chart.

The only way I've ever found it is to jump from Cabridge to Leeds then I jumped back, just to make sure it worked. When I went back to that area of space, however, I couldn't find the "Unknown Object." None of the patrol routes intersect with it, so it's definitely an easter egg that only the best navigators can use.

Still, for the adventurous, it's in Leeds, in the smog cloud "West" of the New London Jump Gate on the star chart. Happy Hunting.

There is also a wreck to the Northeast of that jumphole floating in space. Don't rememer the name of the wreck, but it dropped 3 lev 5 guns and a lev 4 turret.

Wish there was an easier way to find those wrecks. All I can find atm are guns I dont want, or lev 7 guns I cant mount :-P Jump holes are easy to find normally, as lines intersect em. Wrecks.. are so much harder ( took lots of searching to find the two wrecks in the Badlands, and I already knew they were there.. feh )

Anyone klnow of wrecks in Kusari space? ;-)

I thought the leeds to cam jump hole appears randomly?

Okay, I'm not sure how much use this will be to anyone, but I've spent a little time playing amature cartographer, and located the jump hole. It doesn't appear randomly.

To find it, zoom in on the New London jump hole (not the jump gate at the end of the trade lane, but the jump hole in the smog cloud.) You will notice that the hole is situated directly on a grid line. Set a waypoint inside the box six grids to the right of and just below that line. You should see the hole upon approach. When you spot it, just left click on it and dock. It takes you to Cambridge.

I don't imagine it will be used much except for hauling contraband. It's kinda out of the way, and the area is frequented by Mollies and Gaians. Still, it's there for whoever wishes to use it. Have fun.

Buldog got it. For some reason, it doesn't show as a jump hole and won't permanently be on the map. You just have to remember where it is.
