Transferring GAMES SAVES

Does anyone know how you can transfer your single player game saves to other computers? Or back them up?

This is for the full version- not the demo. I lost my demo saves when I installed the full version before- why do they make it so hard to backup saves when they let you mod the game?

I have the same problem, could it be in one of those weird myGames, my Blabla Microsoft folders?<br>
I would love to play it on my laptop, too...

ok, couldn't sleep because of this problem found the answer in a german forum:

the savegames seem to be located in:

../EIGENE DATEIEN/MY GAMES/FREELANCER (*.fl),

which should translate to something like MYFILES in English I guess...

this is probably the wrong forum for this, though, Freelancer Technical Issues seems to be more fiiting

The retail version of the game contains detailed instrcutions on how to do this. Readme files are your friends. It is done with some risk, that's why I point you in that direction.
