N. Cannons and Blasters

I have been shooting at the stupid Nomad's for hours and they are not droping the blasters or cannons. Is there a way to shoot them off. I thought sub targeting them just destroys them. Could someone help me. please

Sub targeting is near-useless, you cannot damage weapons in any other way than shooting off the wings they're mounted on - and if they aren't mounted on a wing you're SOL.

Just keep killing them, they'll drop them eventually.

I think in omicron gamma is the drop rate higher, but well, thats just a feeling, cause I found there enough for 3 ships with just visiting, while I shoot several waves at the other site and did not got any.

I haven't found any differance where I kill them. They all drop them quite frequently for me. I have got about 15 of them in my hold.

ok.. are u people getting them in sp or mp? haven't seen anyone state that... i have killed many nomads in mp and seen no weapons.

I've killed like 20 in MP and already have more blasters and cannons than I could possibly mount on a single ship.

I find it best to frag them outside the Outcast Graveyard in Omi Alpha. If you actually go into the unknown system, the radiation can be very intense and sometimes destroys the loot before you can pick it up.

The thing is that, the higer ur rank is the more they drop!

i killed about 50 nobads and not a single drop(rank 32)

Then i raist to rank 36-37, and they'r dropping almost every time!
(got about 21 nomad weapons)

Rank 38 isnt as good as the other two! They will drop but lesser!
(got about 5 nomad weapons)

I have no hard evidence on this, but I think ais may be right. I'm at L38 and everytime I dock I've always got ridiculous amount of looted equipments to sell.

It's not the level.. i was level32.. and every second nomad dropped me a weapon.. just went to unknown system (from omicron gama) and back.. and got 10 nomad weapons..

Level 38 here, stayed in Omicron Gamma near the unknown system jumphole and got all the cannons and blasters I needed within 5 minutes.
