mine field in New York System (demo)

how do you navigate or blowup the mine field in the New York System to the east (right) of the battleship Missouri? i know the Alaska jumpgate is there, and i know i cant jump anywhere in the demo, but im tryin to get the New York system totally mapped for when i pickup my Gold copy =D

theres only one patch and its only told to u when u get the right mission in single player.
