Trigger to activate New York Alaska Gate

What must you do to activate this gate in Single Player?
I'm wondering if the same thing can be done in MP to bust your
way to the panhandle.

How do you activate this gate in MP mode? Or is there a nifty jumphole somewhere?

Yea, this is a good idea. It would be cool if all the SP jump nodes were activated in Single.

Including Berlin to Sigma-13! YEA! Diamonds would be like, 2 jumps now! Ehehe
