Coalition?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Coalition?

What happened to the Coalition from the intro movie. Surely they must have grown stronger by now, even able to travel to the Sirius system to kick some ***

in an old , leaked version of the intro , an alien ship appears during the final battle with the Coalition. It fires a projectile at our sun, causing it to go supernova and fry everyone in the solar system, except a lone general who survives on the dark side of Pluto, and heads to Sirius to warn the colonists.

Yeah... i heard something like that too, would even make sense since the "nomads" are in the game

My theory is that the alien is the Normads and that the Coalition were wiped out.

Maybe if there were not, they might come out in a expansion set?

Perhaps not the nomads killed the coilition, but you remember the nomads are the care takers of a more ancient civilization... the more towards the end of the story they figure out that the what ever their names were had a vast empire, perhaps so large it included the sirus sector plus the milky one of sol or Earth yea... lol They used their hyper gates... kinda cool cool! Well yea.. thats just a theory

Where could one find this "old leaked Intro"?

That would be cool to watch.

The original intro was excluded from the game; therefore, it is no longer official, and one can only speculate as to what really happened back in Sol. As for where to get the original intro, you can download it from the main page.

In the Official version of the game, the Coalition forced the Alliance to escape Sol. Unless I'm very much mistaken, the Coalition now has wiped out the last of the Alliance forces and has free rein to Earth, all of the inner planets, Outer planets, the Asteroid Belt, and the Kepler Belt if they would want it.
A penny for my thoughts? Here are my 2 cents.

During my travels, I have learned that being optimistic doesn't always help, hey, the light at the end of that tunnel may be an oncoming train.

The Nomad are the caretaker to the 'Dam-Ka-Vash' or something that sounds like that race, am I right? And in one of the SP cutscenes Sinclair showed everybody what does the artifact that Trent has with him in the earlier missions, does. It is like a map, it constantly shows where you are in anywhere in space. She also mentioned that it's like a device to travel from one place to another without border, which means, the entire space that the Dam-Ka-Vash had been to.

What I am curious about, is where the Dam-Ka-Vash race go? Perhaps they have achieved to be a higher being and become one with the universe crap!? lol

As for the Coalition, who cares? One day or another, the Corsairs gonna come and mop the floor with em with a whole frigging fleet of Titans lol

Maybe the Nomads killed there own makers

That's y u can't find that race, or maybe just as u did, gone to an other star system far away from the Nomads

One of these days we'll get to see what really happened to Earth. I have a feeling that the former Alliance is stronger than the Coalition at this point...heck, they're stronger than the Nomads, which is why they came up with that infiltration plan. If the 4 Houses got their fleets together and made a push, the Commies would get their intestines plastered all over the wall.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
