Whats wrong with me?

Okay, I got myself a humpback and im a level 27. But, im totally weak. If I get caught up by unioners or molly's im as good as dead.

My shield gets eaten up so fast. Is this normal? I have the most expensive shield I could find (30 000).

Your problem stems from two major issues.

First off, you're flying a freighter. This isn't exactly a wonderful fighting ship, but your opponents are Unioners and Mollies. Peh.

Which brings us to our second point: You suck. Practice your flying skills. Try using the afterburner in short bursts, helps to throw off the AI's aim bigtime.

Maybe get a different kind of shield. I remember Mollies eating through one of my shields pretty fast, then I got another shield which wasn't much better but was of a different kind and mollies couldn't even make it go to half power. Still a 30.000 shield should last you ages no matter what kind.
