What Type of Shield?

I noticed that as you get further into the game, more types of shields become available, i.e. graviton, particle, and molecular shields, I believe.

I noticed graviton shields usually have more protection than the other types of shields, but cost less.

What type of shield is best?

The "best" shield is mostly dependent on the weapons you're up against. Different weapons react differently to different types of shields.

I'm not done with the game yet, but once I got to Bretonia, I found that since most people still use anti-positron shield weapons (um.. I forget) (which brings up why anyone sells these thing, anyways. Remnant French people?

)

On that same note, everyone seems to like graviton shields, so stacking on (ugh.... crap, I forgot) that rate-of-fire=4.00 gun seems to work better.

They are good shields indeed, but when flying in first-person they are kinda blinding when you're hit by enemy fire

your whole windscreen tends to get white when catching bullets

I think you misunderstand the game, Breez. This is Freelancer, not Pacman, and those are not pretty snowflakes you catch on your shields.
