There MUST be an undiscoverd Corsair Freighter Ship (investe

If you open up your freelancer>data>cockpits it shows a lits of differnt faction folders. I've abreviated everyrhing with the number of .ini files for each folder and then tried to match each one up with a documented ship. (at the end of this post)

Now what's intersting is that not only is there a Corsair Freighter .ini file, but there's ALSO a Corsair Freighter cockpit model. Further evidence is found in the Corsair Freighter Shields sold on their homeworld.

If that wasn't enough proof there's actually a Corsair Freighter ship model in the gamedata's ships folder section. This ship IS out there, so someone needs to find it and replace the humback and dromedary.

I'm going to check the the bases folders and see if I can find the missing base it's on.

Ok this is intersting.

I searched through the system ini files for shipdealer and what comes up are TWO cases of shipdealer in hispania space. hi01_01_base.ini and hi02_01_base.ini one of these must be Omicron Gamma.

Now the hi01.ini file mentions a hispania sleeper ship and Mallorca which means it MUST be in Omicron Alpha. Therefore hi02 is omicron gamma.

Now the problem is Malta sells the Sabre which means the ship dealer refernce could be refering to that.

I'm not really sure where to go from here.

Ok, I cross refernced the shipdealer seach with a corsairs search.

these are occupided by Corsiars and have a shipyard match. I think they are the most worth checking out.

bw02 == omega 7
bw03 == omega 5
bw06 == sigma 17
ew03 == omega 41
ew04 == omicron theta

hi02 == omicron gamma

Ok, now we've narrowed this down. Time to eliminate which ones have ship dealers accounted for :

Well, that leaves some investegating to do.

I believe the hidden frieghter is somewhere in in omega 5 on one of 3 bases.

That's exactly what i was thinking about... And it's not on the Corsair base in that system, so where to now..?

there is a freighter called la hispana in one of the systems, I forget the name, and you cannot destroy or loot it for salvage.

that's in Omicron Alpha in outcast space. It's their sleeper ship, not a freighter.
