the cowboy bebop connection
So i'm playing freelancer and got my tv on cartoon network like I do every night,
and it hits me.
When I'm dogfighting and listening to the radio chatter I notice cowboy bebop is on.
I was watching episode 2 "Stray Dog Strut" and I notice that the fancy system they use to travel within the solar system is identical to the sequence I see every time I jump in a trade channel. Even down to the neat liquid film that appears in the lane right before the jump.
Then I notice Spike getting ready to go tackle the latest bounty, and there's a part where spike is in his lil' ship looking for the bounty and his friend Jet is talking with him over the ship's comm.
Then Spike says "I've got this one nailed." EXACTLY like in the in game radio chatter. I'm confident that theres more here, anyone else notice anything like this?
Oh, and try hooking up one gun and 4 missles. Perfect for when you're drinking and flying.
