Class 10 Weapons & Power consumption

I just got some class 10 weapons, I have 4 of them installed on my ship in combination with 2 class 9 lasers and 1 class 9 turret. But when I fire for more then 5 secs my power is depleted...anyone got any tips? right now im just using the 4 class 10 weapons and turned the 2 lasers and 1 turret off...

Go to Unknown System...
And get new weapons,look at their energy...

I tip might be to not max out all the guns. Sure fire way to put undue burden on the energy consumption. Yea, you could just as easily find some guns that are powerful that use less engery, I'm just aswering your first post.

no problem here - they do! trust me... i fought maybe 5 - 8 waves of them in one of the unknown systems, or near one of the holes to them... i got 2 cannons and 2 blasters... and just for the fun of it, i put them all on a sabre, together with two high energy consumption class 9 guns and a high energy consumption class 9 turret... i can shoot for 35 seconds nonstop before the power runs out...

Are the nomads only available during the sp story, or can you still fight them after finishing the sp story?
