Best heavy - not sure, either the Hammerhead or the Falcon
Best very heavy fighter - Sabre, hands down. Far better than the Titan because of the forward firing turret and increased maneuverability, all the level 38s on Elite use it instead of the Titan.

yup, gotta agree about the sabre. I've flown the titan as well...lots of space for guns on those wings...and lots of wing to lose in firefights...the sabre is less likely to loose parts...especially since most enemies won't be getting past your shields anyway. Worth every cent.

can u buy a big ship? like a battleship or someting else big? in that case where? can u store ships somewhere and switch whenever u want?

Nope, no battleships I know thats a part I was looking forward too...And no switching ships either.

The best ship I have flown is the Sabre on my personal server, It fly's like a light fighter, with super stats...Very nice ship, combined with a Class 10 shield/weapons its like the ultimate killing machine! I was hoping for more ships tho...like 100+ pilotable ships...

Hmm that brings me to an idea...maybe I can piss everyone off cept the xeno's

Yeah, I think he meant the Barracuda, which is a nice ship, but I would have to say the Falcon is superior based on armor weapon classes.

the sbare is way better than the titan, it has all the same stats that the titan has except a little less armor it has a turret that can fire a full 360 degrees unlike the tian that allows u to only shoot backwards. oh yeah and the sabre is way more manuverable

i have a titan right now, seems pretty good, but not very manueverable, a forward firing turret and more manuev definatly sounds good, where are sabres sold?

i've flown both... and let me tell you - in a fight with 10 other ships a little bit extra turning speed is a HUGE plus...

When thinking of Sabre vs Titan, it becomes a very clear choice when you start getting into the high end weaponry.

I've currently got a Sabre, packing 2x Diamondbacks and 2x Onyx, these are big guns that use a LOT of power. Most I can manage for the last 2 gun slots are Class 8 weapons. I can get off about 10 salvos before the energy is gone.

Titan has 8 weapon slots. Given the above those extra gun slots really aren't much use, since it will merely drain your battery all the more if you are using Class 10 weapons. Best you could do is mount some missiles, which aren't overly effective against good pilots, too easily avoided.

The only useful factor the Titan has is that +2k armour over the Sabre.

It's slower, bigger, and those wings, the wings are just begging to be shot off.
