Bedford Station in the Badlands?

The informations on the Badlands in the New York system say that there were two government research stations, Ithaca and Bedford. Well, i found Ithaca and i found Buffalo (Liberty Rogue Base), i found the Aggressor, Patrol 27, the Texas jumphole and the New York -> Magellan Jumppoint. I mapped the whole badlands with a waypoint based sector sweep, but no Bedford station to be seen.

Now i wonder: was Buffalo formerly known as Bedford, was it completely destroyed or did i just miss something?

Bedford, from my experience is only in the SP. It gets blowed up real good. It's a a mid mission stopover point on yer way to Magellan. I've hunted for it in MP as well, using same technique. There was also some kind of space anomoly there that isn't in MP either.
