You're at exactly the same spot I'm in. I bought Cav and used it for a few missions but it was really hard. I went home for lunch today and traded it in for the Pirhana. MUCH BETTER HANDLING!!! I haven't tried it out in a fight as yet, (will do that after work today), but I think that it will be better. The assasination jobs in Bretonia space pay close to $5k each and they're not that difficult. Mollys don't put up a good fight and I'm getting better at kicking their collective butts. I have $25k in the bank and bought a new $5k thruster. I will attempt to go to Cambridge tonight and buy diamonds. I will try to find the wormhole back to Leeds because reading in this forum I heard that that is extremely profitable. Need to get a couple of hundred thousand dollars for a new ship and equipment. I may go to Kusari space to get a Honda or Toyota after my bank account is big enough. I will also try to buy my way into the good graces of the hostiles in some bar.

well i bought a pirhanna, i dont see much difference. In fact i do less damage, as i cant have as high level weapons!

I really need to find some decent hull damaging weapons, i take shields out very quickly, but hulls take ages! You know a good gun and where to buy it?

You were right,
Even though the Pirhana handled better it was not much of an improvement over the Cavalier. The story took me to the Kusari space and I traded up for a much better ship with better shields, etc. The Bar Missions in Kusari pay double what they did in Bretonia, i.e. $8k to $11k for killing bad guys. My ship is much tougher as it takes 23 nanobots and 23 batteries. I had to get used to handling as it is quite different from what I was used to. Believe me, it gets better.

I just entered Kusari space too!

I bought a crusader in the dublin system, so i dont have any money to buy the new kusari ships.

I'm tempted to the the engine parts haul to Mactan, but it seems like it will take absolutly ages.

If i had a freighter, then im sure it wold be worth it as i would have tons of storage, but in a fighter, its probably easier to just do the 11000 missions. (Altho im worried i wont be able to survive them!oh well one way to find out)

It is DEFINATELY worth the effort to upgrade to the Baracuda in Kusari.

I think i lost my chance, i didnt have enough money, and then what a suprize, everyone becomes hostile.

For now my only choice is the Hawk, but i think ill stick with my Crusader for now, hopefully another ship will become available soon.

I own the Drake. Fast little ship. Is the Barracuda much better in fights that you know of? I think that you have the Bounty Hunters ship (the one with six guns?)
