Baden - Baden for most access players. Or the Red Hessian Bases in Omega 11 or 41 forget which, maybe both. The one with the roids circling the red dwarf star, you can mine them. Radiation is harsh tho.

Darmstadt station is the cheapest place to buy diamonds I've found. I should quantify this. There are cheaper places to buy diamonds, heck you could even mine them for free. This station has the cheapest prices in relative "safe" space.

Frieburg in Stuttgart is second to Darmstadt, and easy to find.

these are cheapest 3 places i have found to buy on my personal lan server. cant seem to access any of the online servers to check them today

also was able to mine 70 diamonds in about 5 minuts in dresden near the bautzen station
