Demo - Where can you go and what can you find?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Demo - Where can you go and what can you find?

So far I have found Patrol 27, composed of 3 Liberty Defenders, (in a radiation field, where you can pick up several Justice MK IIIs by shooting the derelicts) and an Aggressor bounty hunter ship in another radiation hot zone (with several Gunslinger MK IIs, also available by shooting the derelict ship) in the central southern Badlands (Aggressor in northwest corner of central southern Badlands and the Defenders in the middle eastern portion of the central southern Badlands) where the CS Badlands are south of the southernmost latitudinal tradelane running between West Point Academy and the Battleship Missouri, just to the east of the abandoned Ithaca Research Station.

Also, you can find the Junkers space station in the northwest corner of the Detroit Asteroid Belts to the northeast of Manhattan.

In the West Southern Badlands, to the west of Ithaca Station, you can find Flint (I haven't yet approached this derelict, so I don't know what you can find there) Also, to the south of Ithaca Station, there appears to be another Jump Hole, leading to ?????

Is there anything else hidden in the Demo?

*try this one more time*

I saw someone mention a "natural jumpgate" to Colorado in the debris fields to the side of Fort Bush>Colorado jump gate trade lane. Whether that meant right or left, I don't know. Though I did some searching there last night and couldn't find it.

Also, is there any way at all to get out of this system in the demo?

The Colorado jump hole is in the upper left quadrant of sector C3 (check the map). I didn't know about that Flint thing though. Have to check it out.

Other than the stuff you mentioned there is some more you can find:

- weapons depot with weapons platforms in the Detroit Debris field (exact location: upper right quadrant of sector C5)
- Liberty rogue base "Buffalo" in the badlands (location: right on the line between sectors E6 and E7)
- near this Buffalo base are two natural jumpholes: Texas (in the middle of sector E7) and New York (right on the line between sectors E7 and F7)
- jumppoint New York -> Magellan in the middle of sector D7
- there is a strange anomaly in the badlands as well. It looks like some sort of wormhole or a tiny sun. It's in the upper right quadrant of sector D7.

No, you can't leave the system in the demo.

The Flint thing is in the lower right hand corner of C6. It's up a couple pixels and to the left about 8 from the exact corner.

There's also a minefield in F4, with a jumpgate hidden inside.

I just explored the anomaly a little bit. It's not dangerous. in normal flight you can move right through it without any harm even though there are hull reactions like with the corona of the sun. If you are faster though (thruster or cruise engine) you bounce off it as if it were a solid object. It's beautiful and definately worth seeing. Things like this are what i'm looking for in the full game, discovering strange phenomenas.

EDIT: forgot to tell that the anomaly doesn't show up on your scanners. You need to find it by visual inspection.

You can also shoot Flint for some nice juicy level 3 turrets from the rogues. Perfect for your Rhino. You can fully outfit your Rhino using the gunslinger turret you get from the Aggressor.

And after you find the Flint, then go and land, the ship disappears.

Believe me, I've tried to go and find it later, and it simply is not there after finding it on a previous foray.
