No idea... I flew that mission with that Bounty Hunter ship available back in Kusari. Aside from that, just try to keep moving as much as possible I guess.

Well, figures, minutes after i post a msg for help i find a way to finish the mission. I guess i'll answer my own plea. Up until this point i have used my thrusters rarely. I guess i failed to see their importance before but by being very agressive and using the thrusters to ride the ass of the enemy i was able to get very close to the enemy ships and destroy them fairly quickly. After i got past the first wave of ships i let my group take care of the second wave of ships while i concentrated on destroying the generators. It was all pretty easy once i started using the thrusters. So if anyone has been neglecting the use of thrusters like me, start using them in battle, they are very usefull, although i would still trade my thrusters in for a second shield if i could.

Upgrading from the Crusader is the biggest issue here. Getting the best thruster early helps too, "advanced thruster" lasts longest.

uhm ok well i use em like all the time hehe but still alll enmey ships ar just attacking me and like only me for some strnage reason im getting crazy plus i even uppgraded my shields but that doesnt help either dman enmy weps cuts threw my sheilds like butter :/ plus i relay need lots of cash so i can buy the best laser canon the #red dragons" have to offer hehe 56 000 a piece

Defeating the first wave of fighters is a little bit of trouble, but I do manage it using the Hawk ship and a very active use of my heavy truster.
The second part I have more problems with, taking the generator out is hard! Maybe I don't have the best firepower for these things, but even the heaviest of the missiles makes much damages, and I'm under heavy fire all the time. Anyone who has completed this part who can tell me what kind of ship they had and weapon combo?

I used a hawk with 2 adv. skyrail, one advanced stunpulse as shild breaker and a flashpoint to finish of fleeing nearly destroyed ships, ah well and I had loaded 10 wasps, not that they would help in that mission

I finished the fighers, and than used reverse thrust and short afterburned moments to maneuver near the shilds abit while constant firing at them.

I was real close to the shilds and used them as cover.

was damn easy ...
