How do you know he had "infinite" shield boosters?

Are you sure he didn't just have some kick arse shields? I've heard of ones with over 8,000 strength (never seen one yet).

Did he say he was using it, and did you actually see it happening?

Well folks, it was bound to happen. But keep this in mind..what can be tweaked on the client level sure as heck can be tweaked (and untweaked) on the server level

That's why some servers will be simply better than others. The ultimate controls are still in the hands of the server admins.

This Guy was flying a startracker in Tau 37, getting blasted all to hell and back, and while he was taking damage his shields where constantly regenerating, when i asked how the heck a Startracker could get to Tau 37, much less survive constant attacks he said he used a cheat device to give him infinite shield batteries, i dont really want to say the actual method he used because i'd just as soon not see a few hundred copy cats, however if anyone with sufficently high standing in the forum would ask or tell me where to report it i would be willing to file a beta complaint.

Email Bargib, EB, Stinger, Boscoe....they're the admin's who have been so involved with some of the development of FL and this site...

If we find evidence of cheating on the servers we handle, and verify it then those account will forever be banned. This is problematic for the cheaters because they will become hopelessly frustrated in their attmepted to ruin our servers. Once banned, C'ya!! Bring it!

ban their game id, that simple
they have to buy or dl a new game

should be enough to stop them from getting much advanced on persistent servers ... and those are the ones that make fun

I couldn't have said it better Apocalypse. The characters are all contained on the server side and controlled entirely by the server admins. Generally, controlling doesn't mean anything other that having the power to boot them off, or in extreme cases, ban them. This is perfect for persistent server admins do exactly what Apocalypse stated.

Whats this there are rank 38 people driving around in rhinos with just a few weapons, for example that don´t know anything about the game, asking all kinds of noob questions..

flying rhino with a lot of money doesnt mean he is a cheater....
he is either spent a lot of hour trading or a really good polit...

dont say someone is cheating if they are doing very well in the game...

just like many online FPS games... everyone say the guy who killed them is cheating...

Trust me when I get my hands on this game, I'm going to fly circles around a lot of people. Not cheating, just skilled (cocky and overconfident are words I'd use as well )

If somebody hears about a MP cheat, please tell me asap!
