battleships

Tried to kill battle ship last night in multi player. I pumped 50 ship killers into it my wingman 20 more. wingman forgot to shoot fighters so he splattered. I was all out of torps and mines and had killed 60 fighters before i decided to leave the system. battleship wasnt even scratched, Also shot countless rounds from my guns i got in unknown sector to boot.

Has anyone else tried to kill battleships in MP? Anyone succeed in MP? I know can be done in single player, well at least 1 anyways.

Yeah, I watched you two try that in the Cambridge system, I don't think you saw me

I'm fairly sure you can't destroy battleships/stations unless you're on a mission to kill them in SP, heh. Nice try though

Tasiin is right. Since battleships are stationed as bases and bases are not destroyable for obvious reasons, battleships are not destroyable in MP. They need some just flying around or something that you can blow up, though.

You can blow up big stations in missions though, that's just about as fun

But i dont like haveing a 0 in the battleships killed slot in MP heeh. I ended up with about 150k in guns and stuff. which paid for half of my mines eheh. you would think they would at least have the Outcasts or corsairs offer battleship missions in MP.
