Well IMO people should find these things out for yourself, but if you really want some help...

First trade route: Manhattan to Pittsburgh - Water
Pittsburgh to Manhattan - Boron

Second trade route: Liberty Battleship in Colorado to Liberty Battleship in Texas - Toxic waste

Missions: If you're weaker, only take missions against Rogues, Junkers, or Xenos. Avoid Outcasts and Lane Hackers, as they will shove their guns right up your butt and tape down the trigger.

after you got a good ship sitting in a spot where you see junkers a lot can be profitable. I collected 64 artifacts in 1 area , and they sell nice in Manhatten. There is possibley a better location to sell them but i havent found them yet.

DO you mean attack the junkers and tractor in the items? Or is there another way to get stuff in that area?
