Omega 5 strangeness
just a couple of things that are puzzling me.
In Omega 5, when I first entered the system (I may have been here a while back when doing the SP campaign), there were a couple of wrecks. I couldn't remember if I had visited them so I headed towards the nearest - straight into a mine field. As my shields (Hammerhead with class 9 shield) seemed to be holding up well I tried to check all three / four out and noticed that the Corsair ships that were coming after me sort of stopped quite quickly. By the time I had got to the last wreck, I checked the map and there are now 25 - 30 wrecks!
This doesn't happen in any other system, is this a "feature"?
Also, in the nav map, I can float the mouse over "Hammen Hole", but when I get there, there is no hole and I can't target anything in the map at that location. Is this a jump hole to one of the unknown sectors? Do I need to be higher than level 35 to "activate" it, or is there something else going on?
I never got around to looking for the 2 (?) unknown sectors the last couple of times I played FL, but when I find them will the Hammerhead be good enough? I can beat 8 - 10 Bounty Hunter Hammerheads and 8 - 10 Titans without working up a sweat - though the Titans were taking a while to kill with the 6 x Vampire 3 that I had mounted - I've picked up enough Salamanca's now to change my loadout to 2 x Salamanca Mk I Class 8 plus 4 x Salamanca Mk II Class 9, plus a Vampire Turret - so hopefully this will be better. I've also got 8 x Class 10 guns that I picked up from different wrecks so I might get a Sabre and use them if the unknown sectors are going to be too tough on the Hammerhead?
So in summary:
1. What's up with the wrecks in Omega 5?
2. Hammen Hole - does it go anywhere?
3. Is the Hammerhead good enough for the unknown sectors?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
