Refusing Late-Game Missions?

Refusing Late-Game Missions?

Is it possible to refuse an end- or late-game mission (save president jacobi, etc.), I've completed the campaign (an eternity or two ago) but have never attempted. Does the game force you to proceed? Can you perform any additional actions?

During the last missions of the campaign at some spots you have no choice - there is only an "Accept"- and no "Decline"-Button to click.
This means you can't cheat yourself and get additional bots/bats or other equipment

It would be interesting if you could run missions out of Toledo against the Nomads...

Or run missions out of the Nomad home base against the Order.
