Monkey and Robot Worlds

Is there any way to take missions from the Monkeys or Robots? Or can you be Enemies with them? Do they even fly?

No. They seem to be in there as Easter Eggs, as even the planet description is borrowed from Junyo.

And the jump hole descriptions are left over from an earlier version of Freelancer, as you can see if you scan them.

Oh Phooey. I thought it would be cool to hang out in monkeyland, instead of always haveing to jump between systems to get more bots/bats.

Take a gander at the Monkeys 1.18 or Monkey Universe mods. BlackEagle has done some excellent work at expanding the role of the monkeys and robots in the FL world and adding a whole new side to the game.
