Is it possible to get at ship from an old saved game to a new game in Freelancer?

I Don't think so I think that the ship is atached to the savegame. maybe i'm wrong. But i've never heared of copying your ship from an old savegame to a new savegame.

What are you actually trying to do? If you're trying to change the ship you have in a particular save, download the Ioncross Character Editor. That should do the trick.
