Kracken 2 vs Nomad Blaster

Which of the 2 do you perfer and why? Statistically I thought Blaster was better. Recently however I don't know. I got killed repadely by somone with 5 Krcakens 1 Tiz when I had 4 Nomads 2 tiz. He not only did more hull damage than I did but di more shield damage
it depends on what shield you have and what shield he has also.
their is a shield with is better against some weaps then the c10 positron shield.
the krakens type 2 are one off the most powerfulliest weaps with i use... the stats a sec are in damage about the same as the cerberus, but energy use way lower.
fighting skills is a slo a common thing around, are you a good fighter?? is he better?? is he a "newb/n00b"?? is their slightly lag around??
a good thing about the krakens are the high damage against the graviton shield.
the tizona del cid does only 3974,4 damage a sec on a graviton shield... the kraken type 2 does 1406,4 damage a sec on a graviton shield... the nomad blaster does 1281,69 and the nomad blaster 1268 damage a sec on a graviton shield...
however the kraken has only 1172 damage a sec on a positron and 937,6 damage a sec on a molecular shield... shile the cannon and blaster has still the same amount off damage on thus shields...
your class 8 graviton shield defend your ship better against a tiz then a c10 positron shield. however the weakest shield stays the c9 molecular shield...
a good way to prefent your guns to be good at one weap is to outload your ship with kakens next to tiz, one or 2 krakens next to 1 or 2 tiz can be a powerfull outload...

We were just sitting next to each other compelty stopped shooting 1 shot at a time. Also Shield in both of ourcases was class 10 Pos no lag . We then dueled a few times with me dieing over and over. This person I kill everytime except when they use this loadout then I die unless I fight it in my drake. In stand still tests thier shield lasts 3 shots of the loadout and mine only lasts 2 shots.
i have a fighter around with 5 tiz and a cannonball launcher... however it needs 1 hit on a class 10 positron shield... however that is not the point... but i have also a fighter with 4 tiz, a kraken t2 and a cannonball launcher, this is an outload with needs inmediate 2 hits on a positron shield...

He/she's using all lvl 9 weapons, so fly around that player not firing while the player will use all its energy in about 8 seconds so will be lacking in shield regen. But if you find that that player has fired constanly for 6 - 8 seconds with no drop off in weapon fire then report them to which ever server it is for using unlimited energy mod. As using that many lvl9's it takes 6 seconds for them to run out of energy then they are limited to 1 shot or 2 shots firing at most. Note there energy then takes a further 10 seconds to recharge.
Usually on a eagle or sabre, nomads will win out. however, the titan has enough power to sustain kraken type 2's. I usually put krakens on my titan because krakens move much faster and therefore hit more often then the more sluggish nomad weapons.
however, other than that, it's likely your opponent was better than you.

I'm going to muddy the waters even more on this one...
Even assuming you take turns making one direct shot at each other, the existence of the shields prevents predicting who would "win": shield regeneration will totally skew the punches traded.
If you're talking about shots against bare armor, 1 for 1, on ships with equal armor, then it's a matter of multiplying SINGLE SHOT damage by number of guns. Your loadout was weaker than his if you used energy blasters; if they were nomad cannon, yours was stronger. Ignoring the minor armor damage done by a Tiz, the armor hits would break down like this:
5 Kraken 2's => 5*586.8 = 2934 per volley
4 nomad blasters => 4*635 = 2540/volley
4 nomad cannon => 4*847.6 =3390.4
3 blasters, 1 cannon => 3*635 + 847.6 = 2752.6
So if you had 3 blasters and 1 cannon or 4 blasters, your volleys were weaker than his.

there you got your answer, they move faster. and actualy also on all the other VHF's it's worth using them. tizonas have the same problem, try using adv debilators they hit more often. yes there damage is way lower compared to tizonas but it's worth it.
why do you think firekiss is the most sucky lvl 9 weapen? they nearly never hit with 500 m/s. dont ever use codename weapens, they all eat your energy and the weapen damage is less than the nomad weapen damage and all have the same speed. why would you ever wanna use blasters? krakens do +/- the same damage and mover faster and thus hit better. why still using cannons? because of the high damage/shot because the times you do hit, you wanna do much damage. any other guns other then krakens and cannons good? yes skyblast b. there damage is a bit less but these are good vs the lvl 10 shield (wich most people use) and some people prefer a high refire rate.
so after this we can conclude there are a couple good weapen combinations:
tizonas/cannons (you can choose to use only 1 tizona and 1 kraken instead of 2 tizonas)
adv deb/kraken
adv deb/skyblast
adv deb/kraken/skyblast (this i currently use for guns only and my torp character)
tizonas/krakens (this i dont recommend but it's still an OK option)
though if you use missiles, you might want to use 3 adv deb's instead of 2. or even better if you totaly rely on your cannonball, just use 5 adv deb or 5 tizonas
