as for your nomad question, you need to kill nomads for nomad weapons.

But you also have to be above a certain level. If you need to do some "power levelling" as it were just go and loot some wrecks that have the level 10 weapons. Those'll bump you up to 38 in no time.

Or near the unknown system off alpha, don't shoot the nomads, shoot the wrecks!!

i was at 38 when story ended

@master cheif - to be at Level 38 at the end of the storyline you must have used a MOD...

@Xuande17 - to get Nomad guns you must be at around level 35 to get them by looting, otherwise use the IONCROSS Freelancer Character Editor and give your specified saved game nomad guns lol

Why can't you be lvl 38 at the end of the story. You don't have to go to Juni you could do misisons for hours instead if you wnated 2

Problem is with using mods to give you loads of stuff in the story (to try to skip to a high level), it kinda screws things up and doesn't work. I used one to give me a titan, loadsa weaps, etc. etc. When I completed the first mission I checked requirements for next level up. My networth was something like 1.5 million, and the next level was something like 1.8 million. Getting 300 k in just NY? Not fun, so I just quit the game and uninstalled the mod.

It's possible to be level 38 at the end of the story if you had enough money.

Every wreck containing Codenames will boost you up 1 level upon being hit. If you want a wreck-ridden system, go to Sigma 13--it's got about 4 different codenames. Omega 11 has 1 too...in any case there's a list of them on the TLR hidden wrecks page.

The codenames in themselves might not get you up to level 38, so you might have to settle boosting your levels up the hard way--mission after mission. Rhineland so far from what I've explored gives you the best average pay--up to 22000. Having said that, I haven't really checked out criminal bases to see what they pay you.
