Stuck in Dublin (Dexter Hovis mission)

All,
First of all I am using a mod from Reynen (specifically TNG lastest version). When I beat Hovis in the race he simply dissappears and I am left to wander around space looking for him. I cannot get to the next point in the mission where I go to find Quintain at his hideout.

Does anyone know a way to edit a file so that the outcome is successful and I can move on to Quintain's hideout?

Don't know about editing a save, but, you can go back to the auto save and replay. You may have missed a trigger. Also, for more detail help, post in the forum of this mod, as Bosco and others can better help you.
