How many Nomad Weapons have you had?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

How many Nomad Weapons have you had?

How many Nomad Weapons have you ever managed to earn yourself? I currently have a total of one hundred forty two. I'm not greedy or anything, .. it's just that they tend to result from an overexploration of UNKNOWN 1 & 2. .. Man, I love those places. *_*

If I wanted, I could mod an asteroid field to drop Nomad weapons every time I shoot...

The most I've had legitimately is around 10. When I go hunting for either the Blaster or Cannon, I tend to get loads of the other one first. Just the way it works out.

Nomad weapons r 4 n00bs...no offence intended but if you only collect to sell its ok

"IPOL-Omikron19 your request to dock is granted, proceed to dock four-hundred and ninety two..."

currently, on MP I have like some 4 of each.... I tend to sell them to ppl.

I would word it a bit differently, but I tend to agree with IPOL on this. Nomads take away an aspect of ship operation (power management) which has a major effect on your ship's performance in combat, and because of that they render every other weapon, shield busters aside, obsolete.

They DO fetch a nice price with equipment dealers, though. Plenty of funds to keep using expensive weapons like rippers...

Sorry being off-topic a bit, but the 142 Nomad Weapons remembered me of that question:

I never liked much that bounty-weapons are listed one by one. So after a job you have to click 14 times to sell 7 Justice MK II's, 6 times for 3 Thrusters and so on.
It IS possible to group these bounty-weapons (like commodities and mines); I don't know how but I have seen it. When I was playing a couple of months ago with a previous version of ReBalance I was surprised to find information like the following at the Equipement Dealer window:
(...)
Justice MK II
Justice MK II
4 Usiels

When I sold the first Usiel the counter changed to to 4, then 2, then 1 (no number as normal). It reduced the clicking considerably But not all stored weapons were grouped. (This is only an example. I don't remember the details, but I must have a screenshot somewhere. If someone asks I will look for it).

My point is: I would like to have "grouped Bounty-Weapons" in Mods. (No, I am not talking about "weapon-groups" ).

I think there's a value, something like "combinable", in the ini files, that states whether something appears in the fashion of equipment, or commodities. That's the most likely candidate for this, I think.

Yes, but the supply of those is limited...the profits from selling off nomad loot never stop coming.

one thing i would like to do but never had the time:

Get either an Eagle or a dromedary, fit it out, and then cruise the sirius sector, picking up dropped loot from missions you sneak in on, buying cheap ammo, mining. and then sell them to players for a price slightly higher than that of it as normal
Basically a wandering Weapons merchant, got all the good guns, at all the good places.
