Mission 09: Destroy Sheild Generators

This mission is bugging me...I have been sailing through the others, but I keep on getting stuck here. Do I need to blow-up all of the shield generators? (And what is the best way of doing that...because lasers and missles are too damn slow) However, in the process of doing so, I run out of time and all of the Dragons get blasted.

When I am in the process of blowing up the shield generators the Dragon folks come on the line and tell Ozo to make his run into the base. I am assuming that means me too, or do I need to whack the rest of the generators?

Lastly, and here is me being a dunce...how the heck do you dock with that thing? From the bottom? Top?

Just stand in front of the generators and shoot them. Use A and D to strafe. You'd be surprised how much fire you evade, and you can just sit there plugging away.

And you don't need to dock from any particular side. Just hit F3.

don't worry about the dragons and try using starkillers.

strafe! the three VHF's are equal in strength
You wouldn't use a cucumber to chop a tomato!

Ignore everything but shield gen's. When done, dock with the ring. And Starkillers do work well. Just damn expensive.

I find it useful to hover in between the arch and the generator, then strafe. easy enough.

I agree with the others. Hover and shoot. Missles are not fast enough.
