Ripper ~4000 damage ~7200 credits
Screamer ~3200 damage ~6000 credits
Driller <1000 damage (forgot exact number) ~300 credits
Cutter ~2000 damage ~2700 credits.

The Screamer is a regular mine. (non-homing) So Screamers move at 60m/s instead of the 80m/s of seeker type mines (ripper, cutter, driller)

If you actually use mines on a regular basis, then the Ripper is the best. The extra damage and homing capability is worth the extra price.

Just use your guns. Mines are like throwing credits out the window unless you can quickly follow them up in time before their shields recharge. And basing your combat strategies on exposing your tailpipe to your enemy before fighting them is a bit unwise at best, especially against humans that can simply shoot mines before they reach their target. Mines can be easy to use actually. You have to directly charge your target. At about 200m, drop a mine. If all goes well, the mine will hit, and your target is destroyed. Works for PvP too.

i prefer the simple Razor Mine, Cheap and Deadly, plus they make a cool sound when dropped
