The post about Nomads, goa''ulds and copyright infringements

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

The post about Nomads, goa''ulds and copyright infringements

Why do the Nomads seem like the goa'uld in so many ways...
1) goa'uld take human hosts.
2) goa'uld are evil.
3) goa'uld have four tentacle thingies.
4) goa'uld's host's eyes glow.
5) goa'uld's intent is to take over the galaxy.

And many more.

PS: Goa'ulds are from the Sci-Fi channel series 'Stargate: SG-1', and to a much lesser extent, the new spin-off 'Stargate: Atlantis'.

Perhaps this would be better off in the Spoilers Forum. You do reveal rather a lot about the Nomads here.

Yea i've noticed that too. The Nomads are strangely familiar. And the ships are like those alien ships in Earth:The Final Conflict. Also Tekagi's voice sounds strangely goa'uldish when he says that "Do you really know who you are dealing with" line

If you have any idea of what I'm talking about - you got far enough, into the game to just want it to end, so you can finally freelance, and wouldn't really care about any stupid posts on some website, somewhere.

BTW, Freelancer isn't really an open universe, you have to do a long and challenging storyline too! And with all the desktop crashes, one wonders if it's worth it...

Oh, and I can't remember that Tegaki line - gimme a save right before it.

BTW, Does anyone keep the storyline mission autosaves?

EDIT: typo

I've never had a crash.

Try playing some mods, or even better, making your own. You'll become intimately familiar with crashes
