If you delete missions 1-12 and copy/paste m13 file from any Open Space mode ,starting a new game will put you in omega major with the starflier.

(Nothing to do there since there are no jumpholes but even if you add one i dont think there is a way to advance in levels since storyline is skipped )

I suppose u are refererring to OMICRON major. Anyway, there is a hulk near Atka but it looks like more like a big storage depot.
