Mission 9 Gunships dont attack

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Mission 9 Gunships dont attack

I am having a problem with Mission 9. I am running the WTS-world 2.2 and something is wrong. I have gotten to the arch, escaped and met Juni outside when the gunships attack...except they dont attack, they fly by at cruise speed on across the system. I cant catch them, and when i chase them Juni says i have to go faster, even if im at cruise speed (she is sitting still) and then i fail the mission because i havent destroyed the enemy ships. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!

I had exactly the same problem. It also happened when I visit Willard Research station with Juni and Walker. I just couldn't do the Takegi Arch one. In the end i just gave up. Best way to overcome this, is to download the speed mod, so when they fly away, you can catch up quickly and destroy them before they leave the mission area. By activating that though, you will have to start again

I also had the same problem with those two misions.Someone told me that if you delete & reinstall a few times it worked for him. Another said that he tweeked the speed files of the gunboats in the mod itself. The speed mod sounds good.

Hang in there...........................AZAR

Try not using a mod when you do the storyline. It's best to do an unmodded storyline game so when it's over you can use any mod you want withouth fear of this happeneing. Save it for MP or whatever. --- VH16
