Zone 21

Another strange question from the world worst modder.

I started Freelancer SP again, thinking that now I know the storyline every thing would make more sence.

Anyway I had just finished tangling with some Rouges by Zone 21, when I realised there was a hole in the minefield right next to me. Ah!, I thought this must be that passage you travel through with Walker, I flew into the passage to see what would happen, and blam it happened.

Walker suddenly comes on my comm telling me to follow him, I spun round and sure enough there is Walker's cruiser fleet, Juni, etc.

The Game had jumped straight from after Mission 1 to the mission where you storm Alaska (I forget the mission number).

To cut a long story short I then proceeded to play out the final parts of the Freelancer SP campaign, until I died above Toledo due to my damn Rhino.

I was just wondering wether this has happened to anyone else or my JumpDrive mod has corrupted Freelancer SP

I think it's safe to say it was something to do with your mod. If this happened all the time, someone would have discovered it long ago and it would be a well-known issue.

Either that or you were dreaming - I really can't see how that could possibly happen, although I'm no modder.

I thought it was my mod, but I just wanted to be sure before I started debugging it.

its mine, my JumpDrive (Yes I said JumpDrive), its a programable jump engine that does exactly that same thing a a jumpgate.

Shadow, that is probally where the bug is. I think someone is working on a hyper drive at this time. That is one of the problems involved. To jump like a gate, you have to have a destination where to come out at. Yours may have picked up a storyline location. With random possiblities, I would be interested it it could ever bee done where you choose the destination.

Its okay found the glitch.

When I first made my JumpDrive it used to suck destination coordinates off the nearest jumpgate.

I edited the drive and the jumpgates, so you could entr your own coordinates but I forgot about the Alaska Gate. Now its done there is no problem.

I would like to know, if Zone 21 is supposed to be restricted and anyone flying into it is shat at , where are the Navy Patrols, u would think that there would be a hell of a lot of fighters....
