ok basics,

@@grass : you gotta kill atleast 8 nomads to get 1 gun which is not sure at all. lol!!!

@@space eagle : try some very good missions in omega-41 or omicron-alpha and beta maybe it can help increase your lvl. try looting some wrecks in sigma 13 for valuable guns.
