Nomad base (stucked)

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Nomad base (stucked)

Um stucked after destroying the 4 generators after the unknown jump gate...
I got into the chamber then in front of the nomads base...
there`re more generator...
and i think we are three:
juni-trent-king...
I don`t have (so far) any shield recover and i have 4 nanobots...
Every time i hit the generators once I got hit twice by the defence system..
And only once i was lucky and destroyed one generator but my ship explode
near it....

That`s pretty hard...
I tried playing old savegame and saving some nano-sheilds...
but um stucked on 1 shield and 4 nanos....

Please if there`s any easer way please tell me....

Are you inside the Dyson Sphere? Or are you at the Great Barrier? The same happened to me, I run out of nanobots, batteries (and torpedoes) on the final levels.

Remember that losing your shield is not the end. Your hull can take an aweful lot of punishment. When your going after the Nomad Generators, do a strafing run on them, activate every weapons at your disposal, switch on that afterburner and swiss cheese that f*cker. Do 3-5 runs then break off. Kill one or two Nomad fighters and you should get some batteries which you can use to make you last a bit longer. then do the runs again. You only need to destroy 2 generators in the Dyson Sphere, if you're at the Great Barrier you'll need to take out all four.
Also, during the final levels Von Claussen is your wingman (and the only one not flying an Anubis) and as a result he will attack whatever you attack.

Hope that helps.

he attacks things? i sat low to the barrier and noticed that neather wingman i had shots anything, but ya kill your engine and only fly by useing yor afterburnner to go forowrd and change direction in addtion to the 3-5 fly bys and killing nomad fighters. it helps alot, good luck on the lvl

Free tip: stick close to the generators that you're trying to take down. If you fly your ship along next to them, lock up you flight control with the spacebar, and then use your mouse to fire away, you'll find that you can take down the generators pretty quickly.

ALSO, mines will be attracted to the generators, so as you're making your pass, drop a few next to the generator.

I was able to take it down by buying the Anubis before departing from the Osiris on an earlier mission. Having six guns and a turret (all of them with high hull damages ... forget the shield damage, since the Nomads don't have shields) was a very quick way to even take down the battleships that you encounter earlier.

I find that torpedoes are a very helpful weapon on this level. Just a sugestion since they're little good for anything else (unless you want to pummel some stations for missions). --- VH16

Mission 13 isn't that difficult except for engaging that Nomad Battleship orbiting Toledo. Just fly erratically, mount an Advanced Thruster on your Anubis and carry as many Nanobots and Shields as possible.
