the best class 9 shield

the best class 9 shield

I have a character in a hammerhead, more for the novelty than anything else. Anyways, I want to find the best level 9 shield for it I can (the hammerhead can only have up to a level 9 shield). I currently have whatever level 9 that the Corsairs sell, and it can sustain 6050 damage. However, when fighting the GMG in Omicron Beta, I scanned them and found that their shield could sustain 7500 damage, or something close to that. Does anyone know where I could find this tougher level 9 shield?

personally i find the best shield for a hammer is the class 8 one that comes on the titan (only way to get it) if its for online play
the best class 9 is the one from freeport 9 i find
though a lot does depend on the weps the people you are fighting use

The NPCs have a special set of shields that are stronger than the ones you can buy - but also notice that their regen rate is 1. So you don't really want to buy that shield, even if it were possible

Champion heavy fighter is class nine with 8,064 points. It's gravatron based, and is the best level 9 for a heavy fighter, or so says the official guide. --- VH16

i would say the best shield in the unmodded game is the class 8 graviton shield for the hammerhead.

you will get the shield with the titan, so it is costly but you will have 1 off the powerfulliest shields in the game
