Do I have a different freelancer?

I can't get any of the ini editors to work. I can't find bini.exe. I can't find prefoptions.ini... WTF? Help!

You need to download bini.exe from here at TLR. As for perfoptions.ini, it's not in the FL folder. It's in My Documents\My Games\Freelancer

An alturnative is to get SDK which are all the data files decompressed. Bini is not always reliable. It will install them in the data file and you are ready to go. Use Word pad/Notepad to open them, edit and save. No need to recompress. Easy.
