Well its got great graphics as long as you have a good video card, and its more complex than Freelancer. But the storyline totaly sucks, there are no cheats or trainers and on top of that the storyline keeps bothering you until you get so p***ed off that you go out and uninstall it. Also it has no mouse flight like freelancer. basicly good graphics but a sucky game.

Hauling Ass over the Sound Barrier, light speed past mars, hittin a bump in space, and spinnin outa control into the stars...

Hmm, sorry to appear sarcastic - but that is kinda what i am going to do.

So, you have read about it, but choose to post at a Freelancer site instead of at the X2 site. Also - guess what.....to find out more - type in X2 The Threat into a browser and do a search. You will find out LOTS of information, websites and reviews of the game. Since people posting here are usually die hard FL fans, It really is NOT the place to be asking...........

Also - you can do a forums search for it as well, which will yield some results. Personally - I would search the off topic forums (search command us under the Lancers Reactor Logo at the top).

I would like to add that i have played it - and you cannot compare the two games, as they are NOT repeat NOT alike at all. They are two totally seperate and different games. It would be like trying to compare Medal Of Honour with Cossacks (RTS game) - cause they both involve war, and thats it. These both involve space, but there the similarity ends.

The storyline didn't keep bugging me after i left it before going to that temple. And it DOES fly by mouse if you choose - although it can be tricky. I found it to be great, and it has good graphics - heck - it has bump mapping on the textures for models - its just that the characters seem to be slightly less well modelled than FL's ones - but that is it really.

thank you Chips and spaz. chips i thought that this was a off topic part of Lancers Reactor. if i remember right off topic ment different subject i.e nothing to do with Freelancer. i saw a posting earlier about Americas Army that is a different game also. lol you did say before you wrote all that about that you were going to be "kinda" (more like Alot) sarcastic
